The hotel was an interesting place for enjoying a pretty quiet area, so close to the Piazza Archimede, the lively Avolio square, and the center. They offered big and compact rooms with the bedroom and balcony, as example. The staff was helpful, and requests were handled quickly. The location was top; it was in the heart of the town.

I recently stayed at Avolio in Ortigia for a few days and it was a fantastic experience. The AC and shower worked perfectly, helping me stay cool in the summer heat. The staff, especially the young lady, provided excellent service. The limited breakfast menu was high quality and delicious, and I loved enjoying it on the rooftop terrace. The location was ideal, just a short walk from il Duomo and in the heart of the city.

The uncertainty of finding the accommodation was tricky, as there were no clear directions accessible. check-in was complicated as there was no bell service, making it awkward to check-in late at night.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. the location was very central, making everything easily accessible by foot. We particularly enjoyed being surrounded by authentic Italian restaurants. the staff was incredibly helpful, offering information about parking facilities and even registering our license plate for us to enter the restricted area for unloading.

Although the location was great, we found it difficult to park in the area without using the small public car park. We paid extra to upgrade to a superior room with a balcony, but were disappointed with the small balcony and in-suite shower and toilet, which had no fan and nowhere to hang damp towels.
